The Australian Centre For Turkish Studies (ACTS) is incorporated in the State of New South Wales (NSW) as a non-profit organisation in June 2009.

ACTS’s objective is to

• Promote knowledge and better understanding of Turkish politics, economy, and society.
• Educate the general public about Turkey and Turkish Australians.
• Foster friendship, understanding and cooperation between Australia and Turkey.
• Serve as a think tank of expertise and a clearinghouse of information on Turkey and Australians of Turkish descent.
• Identify and recognize the achievements of Turkish Australians in academia, arts, business, education, government, public service and science.
